Lynette Darensburg,
Board Chairman

The Chairman of the Board is Ms. Lynette Darensburg an entrepreneur who is working for Merrill Lynch. Lynette has a Masters of Business Administration with a Concentration in Management from American Intercontinental University. She also has a Criminal Justice degree from California State Hayward University. Lynette has fifteen years of contract administration and management. She has worked at the Cities of Dublin and Pittsburgh as well as First NLS Financial Services. Her career has included direct responsibility for grant awards oversight.

Anlisa Anthony,
Vice-Chairman

The Vice-Chairman of the Board is Ms. Anlisa Anthony an entrepreneur who has been working as owner / partner of LBL Properties for nine years. Anlisa has twenty-six years of experience in property management, leasing, site selection, construction, administration, compliance and monitoring of affordable housing programs. In addition to her own business, Anlisa has worked for Alton Management Corporation, the City of Alameda Housing Authority, A.F. Evans Company and Satellite Housing Incorporated. She is a graduate of Holy Names College in Business Leadership. She has professional training in tax credits and occupancy.  

Arthur Williams,
Board Treasurer

Mr. Arthur Williams is the treasurer of the Board. Arthur is a graduate of UC Berkeley and a small business operator.  He has over twenty years of management experience with Fortune 500 companies. Inclusive of twelve years of Consumer Banking expertise with Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America. He managed 615 million in deposits and 15,000 customers.  Arthur brings a strong history of community involvement. He held past and current board positions with Eddie Hart All In one Foundation, Healthy Communities, Inc,, Hercules Chamber of Commerce, Creative Neighbors Always Sharing (Los Angeles, CA), United Way (youth rep), and Richmond Executive Leadership Council, In addition, Arthur is a past Koshland Youth Fellow with The San Francisco Foundation. And currently serves as a CASA for Contra Costa County. 

Hassan Sami,
Board Secretary

Mr. Hassan Sami is the Secretary of the Board. Hassan is a experience entrepreneur for 30 plus years. He is known in the community for using his different businesses as a gateway to our youth who needed summer jobs, and a tangible experience with entrepreneurship. He currently operate Sami African Imports in Oakland, CA.

Kwanza Swift
Executive Director

A natural born leader (Mr. Kwanza Swift) He created the start-up of the organization. Kwanza acts as the Executive director. Kwanza has acted as the primary source of funding for the organization. He always had a desire to work with youth to improve the communities. Kwanza is retire from the city and county of San Francisco. He currently is a longshoreman with ILWU Local 10 Union. In addition, he has owned and operated small businesses for over twenty years.
